The way you feel right now isn’t permanent
Most of us come to therapy for answers when we feel a certain way we don't want to feel anymore. You don’t have to feel like this forever.

Maybe we’re stuck, overwhelmed, feel guilty, or are unsure of how to move forward or deal with a situation in our life. Regardless of why we come to therapy, the core desire is the same for us all, we’re searching for understanding or relief. The deeper you understand yourself, the more empowered you are to make healthy decisions, find resolution, and create a more satisfying life balance.
In therapy we will explore what brings you here.

My goal within the very first session, is to get you feeling better and optimistic about what is to come.
In our sessions, we are working to build deeper awareness and understanding of you and your world. My role is to help guide you toward that healthier, more meaningful connection to yourself.

Effective therapy happens when you give it a chance. Reaching out is your first big step. The fact that you’re even exploring therapy options indicates a desire for change. Change is possible.
What does a session look like?
The goal within the very first session of working together is to get you feeling better and optimistic about what’s to come. Our focus is on the real reasons why you may be having feelings of disconnect, guilt, anxiousness and overwhelm. Understanding, forgiving and creating positive long lasting changes will release you from negative thoughts and patterns.
Successful therapy is a collaborative approach built on a strong therapeutic partnership. Utilizing evidence-based treatment we will use a combination of approaches, discuss past and present experiences and emotions, and work on how to change them for the better. Progress happens when you understand your past, take ownership of your “now” and make positive leaps toward your ideal future.
“We delight in the beauty of a butterfly, but rarely admit the changes it has gone through to achieve that beauty”
-Maya Angelou
This observational process in and of itself can be exciting as you gain insight, begin to see the patterns, and look at your past in a totally new way. You start to see why you have certain thoughts and behaviors you repeat. Once we identify the problematic areas, we begin to understand and develop treatment strategies towards letting them go.
Our sessions will integrate and lead you towards a more fulfilled and purposeful life.
